Venue hire is quoted individually based on your guest count, vehicles, event spaces and dates. Add an overnight stay at the house if you wish. Durham White House provides the venue; you bring your own wedding team.
01 · Up to 20 event guests
The Intimate Celebration
A smaller ceremony and gathering with your closest people. An intimate venue-hire option, with the spaces and access times agreed in your quote.
Event hire quoted separately.
Overnight accommodation optional.
02 · Up to 50 seated for dinner
The House Reception
Celebrate with a seated dinner in the event space. Plan a ceremony and reception around the house, with your own caterer, furnishings and suppliers.
Event-space hire is additional to a house stay.
Furniture and production are not included.
03 · Larger outdoor celebrations
The Garden Wedding
A larger gathering in the grounds, with the final guest count and vehicle plan agreed individually. Couples arrange any tent, furniture, catering, production and weather arrangements.

Off-site parking can be rented directly from a nearby venue, subject to availability.
04 · Add a house stay
The Wedding Weekend
Stay together before and after the celebration. The house accommodates a maximum of 20 overnight guests.
Accommodation is priced separately from event hire. Your quote will identify the house stay, event spaces, guest count, vehicle arrangements and agreed access.

Venue hire and your wedding team
Durham White House rents the house and agreed event spaces as a venue. Wedding planning, coordination, production, catering, staffing, tables, chairs, linens, tents, sound and other equipment are not supplied. Couples arrange and pay their chosen suppliers directly.
Guests, vehicles and parking
Event pricing considers the number of guests and vehicles, the spaces required and the scope of your event. Larger outdoor celebrations require an agreed vehicle and parking plan. Additional parking may be rented directly from a nearby venue. Any valet or shuttle service is arranged and paid for by the couple, not Durham White House.
The barn event bathroom
An event bathroom in the barn is available for outdoor weddings. Its suitability for the proposed guest count will be confirmed as part of planning, including whether any additional restroom provision is needed.
What to include in your enquiry
Please send your preferred dates, total event guests, guests seated for dinner, expected guest and supplier vehicles, overnight guest count and number of nights. Tell us whether you are considering an indoor reception or a larger outdoor event.
